About Sharon
I'm an avid fan of Christian fiction, both as a writer and a reader. I've watched the Christian fiction genre develop over the past number of years, and am pleased that it has grown to include titles that are topping the most prestigious bestseller lists in America. As a Christian and lover of fiction, I believe it's time this genre came into its own, and have a strong desire to contribute to it.
Our Heavenly Father has given us gifts and abilities that are meant to be used to further His kingdom. The arts–writing, painting, music, drama, dance, etc.–provide a wonderful forum from which to accomplish that. My passion is writing fiction. As I put pen to paper my prayer is that I bring glory to the Lord and touch the hearts of my readers in a way that will help them experience God's love, perhaps for the very first time.
Philippians 2:13 says, "For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose." As a wife, mother, grandmother, writer, and follower of Jesus Christ, that is my desire. My faith is woven into my writing, but I strive to do it in such a way that a reader could easily pass one of my novels off to a friend or sister who is a non-believer, and know that they'll get the message in a way that isn't preachy, while reading a book they can enjoy.

Thank you for investing your time in my work. I pray you find a few moments of pleasure as you read, but that you will be ministered to as well.
